3. Accommodation Applications and Bookings

3.1 Application Process
Submission of an inquiry or application does not guarantee accommodation. All applications are subject to review, availability, eligibility verification, and approval by Hye Homey.

3.2 Reservation Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed when:
We have issued written confirmation; and
Any required deposit or payment has been received and cleared.

3.3 Right to Refuse
Hye Homey reserves the right to decline any application or booking where permitted by law, including where accommodation is unavailable, information provided is inaccurate, or the applicant fails to meet eligibility requirements.

4. Fees and Payments

4.1 Accommodation Fees
Accommodation fees, deposits, administrative fees, and other charges will be communicated during the booking process or in a separate accommodation agreement.

4.2 Payment Obligations
Residents agree to pay all fees by the due dates specified by Hye Homey.

4.3 Late Payments
Late payments may result in administrative charges, suspension of services, cancellation of bookings, or other actions permitted by applicable law and any signed accommodation agreement.

5. Security Deposits

Where applicable: A security deposit may be required before move-in.
Deductions may be made for unpaid charges, damages beyond normal wear and tear, lost keys or access devices, cleaning costs, or breaches of accommodation rules.
Any remaining balance will be refunded according to the terms of the applicable accommodation agreement.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Resident Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Refund eligibility, notice periods, and cancellation charges will be determined according to the accommodation agreement, booking confirmation, or published cancellation policy.

6.2 Hye Homey Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse accommodation where:
Required payments are not received;
False or misleading information is provided;
A resident breaches these Terms or accommodation rules; or
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent accommodation from being provided.

7. House Rules and Resident Conduct

Residents and visitors must:
Respect fellow roommates, neighbors, and property.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Comply with safety and security requirements.
Follow all hostel policies communicated by Hye Homey.
Avoid disruptive, illegal, abusive, threatening, or dangerous behavior.
Comply with all applicable Singapore laws and regulations.
Hye Homey reserves the right to take disciplinary action, including termination of accommodation, for serious or repeated violations.

8. Visitor Policy

Visitors may only be permitted in accordance with Hye Homey’s visitor policies. Residents are responsible for the conduct of their visitors while on the premises.

9. Property and Personal Belongings

Residents are responsible for their personal belongings.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hye Homey shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property unless caused by our negligence or as otherwise required by law.
Residents are encouraged to maintain appropriate personal insurance coverage.

10. Website Use

You agree not to: Use the website for unlawful purposes;
Attempt unauthorized access to our systems;
Introduce malicious software or harmful code;
Interfere with website operations;
Copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without authorization.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to users who violate these Terms.
